The strategic objectives of Create a Wonderful World Initiative (CWI) for the period 2024-2030 are designed to address the critical needs of vulnerable populations in Northern Nigeria and beyond, while focussing on resilience and sustainability. The organization’s efforts are cantered around two major focus areas; Humanitarian Response and Climate Action. Each focus area comprises several key objectives aimed at creating a lasting impact.
CWI aims to significantly improve access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) facilities across vulnerable communities. Our health objective is to enhance access to primary healthcare services, with a special focus on improving maternal and child health. CWI is committed to enhancing the protection of vulnerable groups, particularly women and children, from all forms of abuse and exploitation. Ensuring access to quality education for all children is a fundamental objective for CWI. The organization aims to increase school enrolment and retention rates, particularly for girls, and improve the quality of education through teacher training and curriculum development.
CWI’s climate adaptation objective is to enhance community resilience to the impacts of climate change. We will implement climate-smart agriculture practices and improve water management and conservation techniques.
the type of activities undertaken by the organization range from the following:
Prioritizing community well-being, our health initiatives focus on accessible healthcare, preventative measures, health care support and health education. By advocating for healthcare equity and implementing programs, we aim to improve overall health outcomes, ensuring a thriving and resilient community.
Committed to improving health and well-being, we address WASH challenges through sustainable solutions. By implementing clean water projects, sanitation facilities, and hygiene education, we strive to create healthier communities, empowering individuals with the foundation for a thriving life.
We prioritize access to quality education, working to eliminate barriers that hinder learning. Our initiatives include educational programs, scholarships, and community partnerships, ensuring every young mind has the tools for a brighter future.
We are dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals, especially children. Our protection initiatives encompass advocacy, awareness campaigns, case management and support systems, striving to create environments where every person is safeguarded from harm and exploitation.
Acknowledging the urgent need for environmental stewardship, we actively engage in climate change adaptation and resilience strengthening through advocacy, community education, and sustainable practices, with a commitment to environmental conservation, creating a sustainable and resilient future for all.
CWI adopts community-driven and locally informed solutions to tackle malnutrition. Our nutrition interventions emphasize the use of locally available resources, culturally acceptable practices, and sustainable approaches to improve the nutritional status of vulnerable groups, particularly women and children
